Nursing indeed is meant for caring that's why the college is there, to train and inculcate desirable behaviour in our future youth.

1. That the environment has an important influence on the development of an individual; therefore, the study of an individual as an entity is inseparable from that of his community and those factors that influence his environment.

2. That individuals have basic right to enjoy good health and that in the process of attaining this, they should receive effective health care and advice, based on individual needs in relation to their disease conditions disabilities or health maintenance standards.

3. That Nursing, though scientific when considered in this era of technological advancement, is purely a vocation where the aspirant aim at excellence at all times without regard for remuneration, colour, creed or status but counts herself privileged to care and witness the gradual but complete recovery of the sick or assisting him in love as he transcends to the world beyond.

4. That the functions of the earnest aspirants are preventive, supportive, curative and are carried out through direct care, teaching and counseling.

5. That the nurse plays a crucial role in promoting positive interpersonal relationships with her colleagues, other members of the health team and members of the community towards achievement of health goals.

6. That the nurse is capable of making independent judgement/decisions and is accountable for the successes and failures of her professional actions.
